SPRKL
PROSECCO + ROSÉ

SPRKL is a collaboration and a partnership with our friends in Veneto, Italy.

With the recent approval from the Denominazione di Origine Controllata, we are introducing our Prosecco Rosé DOC from Veneto, Italy. This wine is organically grown and certified locally in Italy.

“Having been an early entrant to the Provencal Rosé category we are just as excited about this new project and believe Prosecco Rosé will be the leader of pink sparkling.”

Made With Organic Grapes

Our partners are one of the wineries that pioneered organic viticulture in Veneto more than 40 years ago. They certify EU organic; however, their production protocol goes beyond organic standards. In the vineyards, they use less copper and sulfur than what is allowed in organic viticulture, and instead, we naturally enhance the fertility of the soil and the resistance of the wines with an infusion of medicinal herbs, microelements, and algae. In addition, they advocate and promote biodiversity by protecting forests, wild animal hotspots, and fruit trees.

Terrior

What is Terrior? A combination of climate, soil, terrain, and tradition. They have amazing vineyards on the Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei ) in Northern Italy. This very small area is famous for its volcanic origin.  Hillside vineyards on volcanic, nutrient-rich soil give us an important edge in terms of quality.

Style and Experience

Our partners make prosecco that they love. They have spent decades working to find the right balance between hints of sweetness at the beginning and a finish that is more on the dry end. In their experience, a longer second fermentation of 60/90 days with a couple of weeks on the lees, gives the wine more elegance with a thinner and more persistent bubble.
